Conductors and accompanists keep our members company through every rehearsal and performance. They also teach us music and stuff.
Calling Erskineville home
Renting our rehearsal space in Erskineville each week, making it our choir home, and renting performance spaces like the Marrickville Town Hall.
11,000 pages of sheet music
Yep, it’s a lot. We learn roughly 20 pieces a year, so it’s a lot of printing.
What your donation supports
Commissioning new works
Inner West Voices is commissioning our first new work in 2017. This is only possible thanks to generous donations from our supporters.
Fancy workshops
Giving members the opportunity to rehearse with guest musicians and conductors and learning how different kinds of music are made.
Special performances
Performances on top of our two annual concerts cost us. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the choir has been lucky enough to perform with Gurrumul, Christine Anu and at several community festivals.
